New and returning nonstop routes
Nonstops that started showing up in the US DOT filings, and airlines that started flying an existing route, checked every week.

How this list is made
The DOT publishes a month of flight filings about two months after it is flown. When a newer month lands, every route is compared with the previous data. A route is listed as now flying when it was absent before and operated regularly in the newest month. It may be a brand-new route or a seasonal one coming back; the filings cannot tell those apart, so we do not guess.
Routes ending are not listed. A route missing from one sampled month is usually a seasonal pause, and saying it stopped would too often be wrong. To hear about changes at one airport, sign up for alerts on that airport's page.
